I would not recommend unless you want to be treated like you are a prisoner. This is not a Christian based program because God would condemn the behavior of the persons responsible for running this place. Going to church will never make Brother Lake a Christian just like standing in a garage will never make me a car.

If your family member or loved one has children that they love and want to keep contact with , this isnt the place for them. They pick and choose which kids these men are allowed to have contact with. Theyve allowed my sons dad to leave with his other kids moms even though she herself, has a drinking problem, psychological issues and a toxic relationship which is why hes there in the first place. Hes allowed to get visits with her and their kids, hes even allowed to go stay with them for weekend passes, but hes not allowed to see his 2 month old baby. They claim to be a Christian based program but I firmly believe they use that as a crutch to manipulate and control every aspect of their lives. Brother Lake is a liar. Lied to me and a couple of my family members for months, for his own pleasure. If you try to call and ask questions about a concern youre having , they ignore you and never call you back. No one wanted to answer why hes only allowed to have a relationship with some of his children and not the other so i commented on their Facebook post and they deleted my comment. He cant even see this particular child on a holiday because hes not immediate family even though its his biological child. Since no one wants to answer my questions, maybe this one fits your liking, What Would Jesus Do? Because it isnt this.
