The Regency Skilled Nursing & Therapy

My 104-year-old mother recently passed away after spending almost 3 years at the Regency, and the experience was outstanding for her and our family. From the food and the facilities to the staff, the interactions we had with the staff were excellent. However, the best came when my mother was dying, and members of the staff were constantly coming to her room to say goodbye and telling me how much they would miss her. I felt that each person was genuine and professional. I can't say enough good things about them and the facility.

Shandi is the best nurse Courtney has no bed side manor. I want Shandi back. on weekdays not Courtney. Trish is the best CNA and I want her back on my hall on weekends

This place almost killed my dad. They refused to give him insulin and let his blood sugar shoot up to just under 500! He ended up in the ER and almost had to go on dialysis. DO NOT TAKE ANYONE TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!

The staff is awesome, everyone there (the Therapist, the nurses, the CNAs) are amazing. They took amazing care of me. There was only one bad apple, a nurse named Courtney. She is rude and Condescending, you can't talk to her at all.

My daughter was there the 25 days in Nov-Dec in 2023. The aids and Shanty should be commended for their work, along with case worker Linda Hendershot. Yet, there was a nurse, Courtney, that has to be the rudest person I have met on our journey with my daughter, Laura Wright, with stage 4 lung cancer. Plus on discharge half her meds where not given to us. When I finally received the rest of her meds 8 hydrocodone had been taken. My daughter specifically told Courtney she was an addict and did not want anything but Tylenol. I was there when that comment was made. Because I said the same thing and she told me I did not have the right to make here decisions for her. Even though Laura just had full brain radiation and was having cognitive issues. Don't know where they went to and if she was given them. But I do know she went to er in Shawnee for hallucinations. Thanks to the dining hall staff that go beyond expectations to take care of a bunch of anxious and hungry patients. They were wonderful. And Victor, what an asset to this facility.
