Summer Dental

not a good place to get fillings done

I don't know where Summer Dental in Shawnee, Oklahoma, got good reviews, but I can tell you the truth, and that is that first of all they pulled the wrong tooth for an extraction. I went back and they pulled the right one and I made a special point of emphasizing that I wasn't given any pain medication.. it's 8:32PM still no pain prescription called in to Walgreens here in Shawnee... I had the 2 extractions done before 2 p.m. The receptionist did not, and was not going to relate my message to the manager, untill I showed back up there. The manager made a dpecial point of telling me twice that she was going to make absolutely sure my prescription for pain meds was called in. Did not happen. Amazing... in not a good way. I will never go back to Summer Dental in Shawnee, and I can not recommend in good conscience, that anybody go to Summer Dental in Shawnee. Sorry, but they dropped the ball way too much for "Professional Dentistry."

I just genuinely have to say tdy I came in to get my wisdom teeth removed, and there was some miscommunication with me and the lady scheduling the appt (my fault) and I had to explain that I was on spectrum and was nervous, 2 amazing assistants and the doctor immediately found ways to accommodate me and make my experience a good one while still giving me the medical treatment I needed I am so greatful and i will 100% reccomend them to everyone Ive been to allot of dentist and doctors in my life and I have never been so quickly reassured and accommodated and still given the treatment I needed, genuinely thankful that there are still good people in the world and ik for facts 3 work here!

I was in and out in less than an hour. I had my teeth cleaned, and x-rays taken. The staff this morning was professional and kind. Please check them out for yourselves.
