1st time customer wanting to use their tanning services for a single session. The employee charged me for a month long membership after I had asked for only 1 session. When I politely asked her to refund my money (was still going to give them business, just wanted to clear up the incorrect charge first), I was led back to the register where the 1st staff member proceeded to serve 3 other customers (all arriving after myself), only to have a 2nd staff member come to the register and fumble for over 5 minutes at the computer (not knowing how to make a simple refund). After several minutes of waiting, I asked if there an issue with the refund. The 2nd employee then rudely explained that their computers where down today and that she would refund my money in full so I could go elsewhere, saying "I was not a good fit for their business"...I agreed because the customer service had been awful and they had made a poor 1st impression. After I finally got a refund with a printed receipt, I began to leave the store employee called after me: "Glo Tanning is just up the road!" So, so, so sorry Southern Swank that I wanted to only pay for what I had asked for, HOW DARE I?! After reading their other reviews, I now see that this same issue of unprofessional, rude store employees has been reported multiple times. I would recommend Glo Tanning to anyone in the area, not this place! EDIT: Pretty revealing that you're still being entirely self-righteous and rude to a dissatisfied customer. You are unable to acknowledge the same 1-star review & complaints about your rude employees at front of store have been made about this business on at least 3 other occasions on these Google reviews & This has been an ongoing issue dissatisfied customers have communicated (see attached 1-star yelp review from another customer a year ago)---Please have a nice day, thank you.
