U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lincoln

Yesterday I rented a U-haul truck for the first time from this location. The staff was incredibly friendly and easygoing. I ended up damaging the truck by accident and they were like, "Nah, it's cool. Don't worry about it." Such a relief! I highly recommend this location.

Staff was great. Did their best to help me out with the stuff I needed, and did their best to help with the price. That said: Prices are out of control, just like everywhere else. It should not cost over $100 to rent a van, in town only, for less than 8 hours. I didn't rent a truck of any kind, just a cargo van. That's marked on all their signage as $19.95 / day. Total cost to me today was $103.00 Unacceptable. If I'd had any other choice, I'd have gone somewhere else. The literal only advantage U-haul has at this point is same-day reservations. Again: this is not anything against the staff of this location. They were great, every single person there. This is a complaint about corporate. If something's advertised as $19.95/day, it should cost that. Not that plus $80 in special fees.
