Dr. Bogie has been my familys ophthalmologist over the years and she takes great care of us. I highly recommend anyone to come here for your familys eye care aswell.

My hubby and I relocated to okc a little over a year ago. I established care with Dr Bogie and she, as well as her office, have been wonderful. Very thorough and listened to my concerns. She is conscientious, caring and knowledgeable. Thank you so much Dr. Bogie.

My first bad review was due to it taking a month to get a referral through and being told something different for 4 weeks straight It was a very complicated situation for my elderly grandma and me, as she relies on me to help her to this appointment, or just drive down to the Dr office to try and get a answer on why they couldn't do a simple referral after 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks!After leaving my one star review previously, I wanted to add on to my next bad experience. If it was up to me we would have never gone back, however my grandmother insisted she sees her. I help my grandmother go here because the handicapped ramp is to steep and too long for her to go up and it exhausting on her. The stairs are hard but she prefers them due to how bad the ramp is. It took 40 mins from the appointment because the front desk never took the check in paper back. Once back their Dr.Bogey immediately exclaims to my grandmother why are you here? You should have never made this appointment and she continues on prodding my elderly grandma why she's there for about 3 minutes. Then Dr bogey turns to me and sternly goes Are you Amber? You left a very bad review and I would like you to remove it I said yes I am and I will not my experience with you has been terrible and confusing. You're rude, your office staff is terrible and i was honest and thoughtful in my review. to which she loudly and defensively said I'm not rude! I've been so nice to your grandmother! and she continued to just say that I should remove my review as it's affecting her business. I never lie in my reviews and I'm very honest. She treated me like a child getting scolded by a teacher. I am 27 years old. My grandmother was appalled by her rudeness and as I drove her home she just kept saying how cold and rude Dr.Bogey was during the appointment, How she talked down on me. My grandmother couldnt believe it. Im not here to hurt businesses, Im here to help other people that dont want to deal with a Rude doctor or bad office management. I would have thought about removing my review if I was asked nicely, told it was just a hard time but she has already fixed most of the issues or just generally anything nicer then what went down because the way she verbally cornered me in the office with her cold and talking down behavior, I will not. I listed to her why I wouldn't to which most of it she yelled over. She rushes through appointments, is always on vacation or gone from the office, she doesnt explain what shes doing or why shes doing it, and does not listen to her patients when they tell her the eye drops are causing worse blurry vision then she was already dealing with. She didn't care when my grandmother would tell her this specific eye drop is causing more redness and puss like discharge on some days. That was completely dismissed and ignored, told to continue drops. These drops cause complications if used prolongingly and she never told us about that. In fact she would say she wants to do my grandmas cataract surgery when she's healed but guess what? Those same eye drops can cause cataracts and make them worse in elderly people and children under 6. They also can cause eye dryness, glaucoma, slow or delayed healing, itching, and muscle wasting to just list a few. Super weird why she would continue to use that for at least 7 months. Her office lady also yelled at me and my boyfriend as we were leaving down the stairs DONT TAKE HER DOWN THAT WAY! which startled my grandmother and almost made her fall backwards, luckily she caught herself and replied she preferred that way because their ramp is exhausting and near impossible for her. That was incredibly ridiculous and rude. She went up that way but I guess the office lady didn't notice because she was too busy getting another patients phone number for her personal use because he looked like he could be related to someone she knows. That was so unprofessional and weird. I would give this doctor and office staff 1 half star review if I could. This whole place and doctor is one of the worst.
