image Went there and sat in the room for an extended amount of time. The nurse was nice, but the doctor that was working there literally took two second to look at me and I already came in with a diagnosis which he agreed with. Didn't prescribe me anything and then I was billed for $2000 dollars!!! I am battling my insurance with them right now and it's been a NIGHTMARE. NEVER again am I coming here for ANYTHING!

image I have literally never been so frustrated with a healthcare experience in my life. I will NEVER go back to this place or any SSM provider ever again. I went in for a basic annual checkup and to establish a PCP, I got the appointment scheduled and the reminder call told me to get there at 8:30am. I show up at 8:30 and the receptionist cannot find my insurance and is saying that she cant find that Im covered. After about 15 minutes, they still couldnt find it and said theyd have to reach out to my insurance to confirm. Then they tell me that Im late to my appointment. After telling them the call told me that I needed to be here at 8:30, they said theyd try to fit me in. They did and the nurse acted like I significantly inconvenienced her. The checkup was fine. But then I get my EOB a few weeks later and it stated that my whole claim was rejected because the provider was out of network. I confirmed that my provider was in network and I reached out to my insurance who tried to call and figure things out but then told me they could never get ahold of anyone so when I called, I got bounced from multiple offices and NO ONE would help me. This has been the most stressful, frustrating experience of my life and Im STILL figuring out billing. Its sad when your health insurance company is more helpful than your provider. Will not be back.

image I went in october for an emergency visit, gave my id and insurance to the receptionist, got treated, and left. The overall visit was great, until this all happened.
Upon receiving my bill online a week later, I realized that the receptionist never put any of my information in, so I was being charged like I didnt have insurance!! Almost 2k!!!
So obviously I correct this immediately, put my insurance information into my account, and attempted to contact billing. Well something is up with their billing line bc it NEVER works. Not if a receptionist transfers me, and not if I call directly. I can never get ahold of someone who can just pass a message on to charge my insurance.
Then I get a bill mailed to me. Its a $200 increase, so now I owe just over $2k, AND MY INSURANCE STILL ISNT BILLED.
After attempting to call them again, the receptionist transfers me, and it still doesnt work.
So I just message them on mychart. 48 hours to answer back?? No! Its been over a week and I still havent gotten a reply back for them to bill my insurance.
Not to mention they put the wrong doctor on my visit notes, I didnt see a man that whole time I was there and yet it states in my visit notes that Dr Chris James was at my bedside. I never met a Dr Chris James?! A female doctor or PA and two nurses were the only ones who treated me that night, so unless Chris James is a woman, that information is incorrect.

image Took family to urgent care in Mustang today. I traveled from the north side of OKC because it USED to be the best around. I wish that I had gone to the free clinic. We were treated so poorly and literally forgotten about for 2 hours. Those vials of blood sat on that counter for 2 hours and then another person came in to draw blood. Dr Casey and Lacey just bailed. (DON'T EVER GO DURING SHIFT CHANGE!!) They said "I'm sorry I can't give you a better answer," when we asked why we sat there unnecessarily for hours. Then Dr (Freeze was pronunciation) was abrasive and almost aggressive. The atmosphere at that facility is not one of a smooth working team. The chaos was palpable; and they weren't super busy.
I feel really bad for the citizens of Mustang, since that's the option out there. Again; Used to be the best SSM facility. Now, I would really be nervous taking my dog back, let alone my family. Darn shame.
