If I could give them 0 stars, I would. A few years back when Bancfirst was inside Walmart (((super short time period))) I tried to cash an out of state personal check( Gift from my Mom) they tried to conviscate my check, claimed it was a fraudulent check and said they would call the police on me. I told them there must be a mistake. I had to stand my ground and demand they give me the check back as it was my property, made out to me, and that if they didn't hand it back I'd call the police, and sue them!! They finally gave me the check back. Well fast forward to August 2023, trying to cash a gift check from Mom again....they want to hold the check for 11 business days rather than use national system to verify check. Verifying funds is a basic banking function that clearly Bancfirst fails. The farther up the chain of command the worse it gets, no one wants to make a mistake so no one takes action. They called my Mom to verify the check??? WTH!! Check cleared, but basically Bancfirst treated me like a thief not once but twice!!
