I recently purchased via the mobile app and get to the drive thru to be told that I would have to pay with cash and they would refund my money in 48 hours. Now I reach out to the company and get informed that it could be 5 to 15 days and I paid for my order twice which a lot of people do not have the funds to be doing this. Plus I could not use any of the coupons which I was using on my mobile order. I would think McDonald's would at least warn the consumer that they may have to pay twice and not be able to use any discounts they offer. Also we ended up with more grease in a card board box then anything and we all got sick. McDonald's has gotten sloppy and careless and if it's going to be that way then it really shouldn't cost as much. If you are going to charge more then I expect decent service. Simple.
