This was our first time renting through Penske and our experience started out decent and went completely downhill. Picking up the truck and dolly was great and the woman helping us was very nice and explained everything. However, the first day of our drive the fender of the dolly broke off while we were driving down the highway and caused severe damage to one of our personal vehicles. We had to switch the dolly out for a new one and we were told by the service center that the dolly never should have been cleared for the road and was missing several pieces aside from the fender. Then the truck had issues with the brakes for the entire trip and we had to top it off with oil about halfway through our cross country drive.
Very disappointed we were given such faulty equipment. And now we have to deal with Penskes claim service and insurance which has been a nightmare.
