Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Guthrie Academy

First time at this doctors office and it will be the last. I Checked in at 3:46 and updated all information as well as filled out paper work. I was told to have a seat and someone will be right with me. I got up to use the restroom and when I came out it was 3:56 and I was told i needed to reschedule. I understand my appointment was at 3:30 but I stated that when I checked in. So basically i drove 35 mins and filled out all paper work to be told to reschedule. This is poor customer service or maybe it was because I was African American. The attitude from the front desk lady change when I checked in compared to the lady in front of me who also said she was late to her appointment.

Took my Mom here in November. I missed the entrance due to poor signage. The nice lady at the ER entrance gave us directions, and called Dr Fisher's office. By the time we made it around the building, we were 15 minutes late. The receptionist made us reschedule, and refused to make copies of her paperwork for her file, too big apparently. On the next visit Angela Baustert called asking about her medical issues, which was on the paperwork she refused to read. She acted like Mom was incompetent, as apposed to being chronically ill with brain fog. She questioned why I took her there, which was to establish care since she moved to Guthrie. I was scolded for letting her take a Soonerride, and told I needed to bring her. I would have had, but they wasted my time on the first visit, and I had to be back at work. Mom did get her meds & placard, this place made it so difficult.Today her Kidney Dr. called, because now Dr. Fisher's Office is denying she is a patient there. It is now interfering with her medicare claim.

Ive had nothing but excellent care from everyone who works at this clinic. Dr Austin and Dr Cochran are the most compassionate doctors and I love the way they explain things and dont try to hurry you out of their office

My experience at Mercy Clinic on Academy has always been amazing. From the warm friendly greeting when you enter till the moment I leave, an extroadinaey experience. Dr. Casey Cochran is a one in a million doctor. Actually he is also a one in a million human being, period. I'm old enough to remember when doctor's made house calls. If Dr. Cochran could, he would. I am an East coast person. From New York City to Miami, Florida, I have never felt the confidence I feel in Dt. Cochran anywhere else that I have been and I saw several doctors in Oklahoma City and Guthrie before being meeting him and I will not be looking for another doctor. My fiancee started seeing him too and both of his parents now. We ALL feel the same. We couldn't be happier in every way.
