I brought 2 vehicles to the Quick lane in Grove. Quick lane cross threaded 4 lug nuts and 2 studs were loose/broken and were found by myself after I had taken both cars home. On car 2, I fixed the cross threaded lug nut and stud myself because I was changing the brakes, even though the brakes were fine.. Quick lane recommended new brakes on car 2, but in reality the car didnt need it. The brake pads had 4-5mm all around and were wearing evenly with no issues. Car 1 was fixed by the dealership in Miami at no cost, which was greatly appreciated. Either way, the cross threaded lug nuts and broken studs are a product of purposeful negligence. Hand threading lug nuts and then torquing them to spec is standard and should be done on every vehicle.. not sure why these cars were an exception and this mistake cost the company $$ and a customer.
