ROACH MOTEL!!! I had a room there last weekend. Upon check in, staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor. I must say I'm 99% sure the first bed did not have clean sheets. You could literally see where someone had laid on one side and was all wrinkled. The other side was nice and smooth and straight. OK, but I couldn't prove that and don't like to complain...we chose to hope we were wrong. The next morning we were getting ready and my mother noticed a bug. The closer I got I noticed it was a COCKROACH! A full grown GERMAN cockroach!!! Those are like the worst ones to have. I took a picture and killed it so I could show staff. While taking that picture I see that there was another full grown roach close to it that was already dead and hadn't been cleaned up. I wish I could upload the pics! Anyway...I went down to show staff and the manager was very nice, but didn't act even a bit surprised when I told her. She told me she was going to make it right with me. I didn't ask what that meant, but was on my way out so I figured I'd deal with it later. Later on that day while checking my bank account I didn't see the hotel charges, so I thought maybe she reversed the charges and comp'd the room. Not the case, I see they are back on my account now. I paid $190 for a roach infested room and she definitely did NOT make it right. I haven't even brought my luggage and things in the house in fear of roaches being in there and then infesting my house. Imagine how bad this hotel must be if there is that many roaches in one room on the top floor... how many are in the kitchen on the bottom floor? I really wasnt going to leave a review because I thought she had made an effort to rectify the situation and I'm not trying to ruin business. But seriously I would NEVER spend $190 to sleep in a roach motel.
