Salvador Cocina Authentic Mexican Food

I ordered street tacos and a side order of rice to go ,I got home no rice .I had to call and tell them they forgot my rice.they said they won't charge me for it.I already paid for it.i drove back they had it ready,she said she was sorry with a big grin,.the grin looked really fake .I don't think she really card that I had drive back.be careful with your togo order at this place.i think the girl was the only one who speaks english.be careful.

We tried this Mexican cafe one evening and we really liked the white queso. Littlest Flip Out, in particular, absolutely loved it. I tried their Speedy Gonzalez dinner, which was fajita chicken and rice covered in yellow queso. I wish I had thought to substitute the yellow queso with the white queso. Mrs. Flip Out had the street tacos and they were good. The Littles enjoyed their tacos. Our waitress was the only server the night we were there and she did an excellent job staying on top of making sure we and everyone else had what we needed. Dont forget to check out the worlds largest peanut monument down the street if you stop in at Salvador Cocina.

Its 2024 and the place does not have a wheelchair ramp. They are not wheelchair accessible I mean come on thats illegal so we didnt get to eat there.

More of a Tex Mex meshed with Cali Mex. Salsa is subpar, tastes like picante and the consistency is half watery and half paste like. Asked for a sample of their habanero salsa before having to purchase it, same as the regular salsa but with a few drops of habanero extract. Shrimp were delicious in my opinion, soaked in lime juice and soft, not tough or mush. Service was decent, our server was personable, it took forever to get our drinks and our food but he was constantly moving around and staying productive. Fajita nachos had 80% chips and about 5% each of shredded cheese, fajita meat, bell peppers, and tomatoes. The tortillas were store bought and not prepped nor warmed. All in all, too pricey for what it offers.
