We had an amazing experience at this lovely chapel. We are a couple who have been together for many years and knew we wanted a very small, private ceremony. Although our ceremony is considered an elopement, it was so much more than a "package deal." Betsy was very kind and helpful, not only when making our reservation, but was always available to answer questions in the time leading up to our ceremony. To say Pastor Kim was "included in our package" does not do justice regarding the magic she brought to our special day. She communicated with us in the weeks leading up to our ceremony and gave us the freedom we needed to write our own vows, include music to be played, and make our wedding memorable. We felt as though we had known her for years and that our happiness truly mattered to her. Thank you so much for helping to create what will always be a beautiful memory!

Attended a wedding recently that started at 6:00 pm and got there a few minutes early. Guess what? They wouldnt open the door! Told us the party paid for a 6:00 pm wedding and they were NOT opening the door a minute early. So much for Oklahoma hospitality!!! Update: guess the Manager doesnt want to admit to an issue entering the facility (wedding party knows the truth) but no matter - the service went very and dont want to take anything away from a wonderful day. Bumping my rating up to reflect the entire time there.

Our son and his bride will be getting married there. The young lady taking care of the wedding ceremony is very precise and good at her position!

I have tried to settle things with this business and they will not communicate so......we used the Arbuckle Wedding Chapel to get married in March. They have changed ownership (4 weeks before my wedding after I had paid 5k already). The new owners are awful. This is my less than one star review: I reserved this venue under old ownership and was not advised it had sold until 4 weeks before wedding. The new owners- impossible to reach. They were not at wedding. I paid a deposit, was told in 18 years a deposit was kept twice: once for non returned formalwear and once for stolen pieces. They kept my deposit because we had feather boas on reception dance. They also shut us down 30 min early and my bridesmaid crew went to picking up petals and feathers. They were told they didn't need to do that when they asked for vacuum. They said it was fine. We were not a hard wedding. We used their catering. It was awful. And, they didn't have it ready on time so guests waited for 30 min just for food. The buns were stale. Menu was not as written. I wore two dresses. One in chapel and bride dressing room only. My train was filthy because the floor was so dirty. I'm 46 and rarely fussy. I am livid about the poor customer service and that they had the nerve to keep my deposit over feathers after how awfully they handled my wedding. I wrote them checks totaling over 5k and it was a total disaster. 3 bright points: the DJ was Brad Bentley and he was great. The officiant did a nice job. Robin Sullivan's desserts saved our hungry tummies and were gorgeous and delicious. The new owners are awful. Please brides, do not risk your day with this venue!

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry you had a bad experience. We did check with the venue manager at the time and she is certain she never had this conversation, so I really don't know what to say! Regardless, I can assure you it won't happen again.

Thanks for the feedback. There's a lot to unpack here, so will do my best to address each item-1. Time-Again, the contract says, "The bride and groom should plan to leave thirty (30) minutes before the end of the reserved time so that family can collect gifts, clothing and other personal belongings within the allotted time frame."Per the instruction packet given to the bride, "The bride and groom should be ready to leave the reception 20 to 30 minutes before the contracted end time of the event. This allows time for guests to make their way outside for "bubble blowing", and time for pick-up persons to come back in and remove all personal belongings from the building within the allotted time frame." You're also reminded at the rehearsal. You were not shorted any time. The announcement was made by the DJ 30 minutes prior to the end time to line up the guests at the door for the bubbles send off, as per the 3 times (at least) it was instructed to you above. Had you asked to add time, we would have accommodated.2. Staff-You were never promised the owners would be personally present for your wedding and are incorrect that they were not there. They working hard for the entire event, as were the rest of the staff. You were even provided additional staff- a bartender due to prior owners not charging for that, but current insurance requiring a licensed bartender- the difference in cost of DJ old v new -and an extra kitchen staff- at no cost to you. 3. Food-There was no dinner time, but it was out on the buffet after the ceremony, so I don't really understand why you thought it was late. We do not have an oven to bake at the venue; the buns came from the grocery store and were on the shelf at the store less than 24 hours before your wedding. It's extremely surprising and disappointing to hear they were stale. Timely notification would have allowed us to work out the issue with the store. Unfortunately, your complaints were not made until well after the wedding, when you voiced all of these previously unvoiced complaints after not getting back your $200 deposit despite informing us via text of the consequences with threats to defame, stating, "We know about everyone around. I'll let folks know."4. Deposit-We have an extremely low $200 security deposit, which is returned to the vast majority. Quite a lot of staff time was spent communicating with you on this. The purpose of the security deposit is to cover unpaid charges, such as missing items or time run over the rental time, damages and excessive cleaning. In your case, excessive cleaning was needed. The cost of the professional cleaner exceeded the $200 deposit. It was necessary even after our staff cleaned for two days due to the unusual nature of the items brought in for your wedding. There were two motorized cars driven in from the asphalt in the parking lot through the lobby and then down the aisle by your young attendants. We suspect the dirt tracked in from the parking lot was responsible for getting the bottom of the dress dirty, as the kids process just before the bride. The feather boas for the bridesmaids left feathers all in the carpets and got stuck in the drains in the floor and to the table legs in the reception area. We do not require guests to vacuum and worry trying to vacuum up feathers might have broken the vacuum. They had to be picked up by hand because they stuck to everything.Per the instruction packet, "No rice, confetti, birdseed or glitter, please." The reason we ask you not to bring these items is because they make a mess that's hard to clean up.Based on this experience, we have specifically added feather boas and motorized cars to this list of items not to bring. Thank you for educating us.Emily, in the end, you were married, your contract was honored, you were even comped over $1000 worth of additional services, and a lot of people worked hard on your wedding #4. We really wish you a beautiful marriage!
