Affordable Fence OK

If you would like a fence that looks like mine, go with them. If you want a fence that doesnt look like a child built it, go with someone else. We paid $20,000 for our fence, and this what it looks like. Also of note, we sent them our as built, with plot lines and everything. On the day of the install, the guy calls me and asks me to come out. I oblige and leave work (30 minute, unplanned absence) since I am paying a small fortune a fence. Bottom line, he doesnt go off the as-built, gets me panicking, and then installs the fence in the wrong location. He also hit a sprinkler head, ripped it out of the ground, and then lied and said he didnt do it. It was already like that. Okay, my brand new $700,000 house just happens to have a sprinkler head ripped out on the same day and location where my new fence is? Sure Bottom line, stay away. They might put some comment about reaching out, but I reached out to them two times and they never bothered to return a call. Now I have to pay about $5K to have my fence line moved because they are inept.

I hired Affordable Fence due to reasonable price and decent reviews. I want to start off by saying the installation guys were hard working and did a great job on the fence. They accommodated my requests and worked fast. My complaint comes from the owner. I was told the fence would be done in 2-2.5 days. Day one it rained so the job got postponed which is understandable. But instead of the job moving a day ahead it took several weeks for them to complete. They said they had other customers to take care of. My second issue is a bag a concrete was spilled if front of my mailbox on the street. I asked the owner if he could send someone by to clean it up and he never did. Third is the payment. I was given a an estimate which I agreed to prior to work starting. When the fence was finally complete I get an invoice stating there is 3.5% fee for using a credit card. This was not on the estimate. I took out a line of credit just for this purchase. The additional fee was almost $300. I asked him to wave it and he refused. This is the kicker. I called the county court to see what a small claim court fee is. It's about $210. Between the interest on the credit card and the surprise 3.5% fee IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER TO LET THEM SUE ME. The court cost are cheaper than the fee and I could have avoided the credit card interest by getting my paychecks garnished. I am trying to live a peaceful and humble life so I decided to just pay the tyrants. Services: Privacy fence installation, Wood fence installation, Fence installation

Oh my I loved them and their pricing. They were here an gone putting up fencing on the east side of my back yard. It's a long fence and they put it in board by board not pre made. They were fabulous

The fence company put up my new fence quickly and it looks good. I'm super impressed with the job they did. I'm the neighbor of the person whose dog got out when they were replacing my fence. Most of the fence was blown down and her dog could (and did) get out of her yard into mine. I told her husband the date they would be coming to replace the fence and he said his father in law was going to bring a dog run so everything would be cool. I don't fault the fence company for her dog getting loose in this situation. It's very likely the guys didn't see their dog and as I stated above their dog could and did get out due to the fence and they knew it and they were made aware of the date the work would be completed. Don't let that review dissuade you. This company was excellent and very professional. Service: Wood fence installation
