        The best fried mushrooms and chicken and dumplings in Grady County. The chicken and dumplings might be the best to be found in Oklahoma. Service is outstanding, the bar can serve up just about anything. The manager on duty is always ready to make your experience a positive one.

        I usually try to leave a positive review, but I just spent quite a bit of money on a dinner that we couldn't even eat! My mother ordered the fried flounder, while I had the fried fish/shrimp combo. We both ordered a baked potato, and baked squash. We didn't want French fries, but were told 'that's how it comes' and got them anyway. They were out of baked potatoes, which we were still charged for, so substituted potato soup, which was nasty. Moms fish was terrible, and the squash was slimy and cold. My fish/shrimp combo was WAY overcooked, and had the consistency and taste of what muck boots might be like. I did talk to our very sweet waitress about it, who then spoke to the manager, who did...nothing. No apology, no offer to re-make it, not even an acknowledgement that there was a problem! Then our waitress was MIA for quite a while, but we were pointedly ignored by the rest of the staff, no matter how many times we tried to get their attention. What we DID get were smirks, gestures, and my 81 yr old mother, (who I was bringing home from the hospital), humiliated and nearly in tears! We both were!!! THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! This wasn't the first time we've had problems at cotton patch, but it WILL be the last, and I'll be sure to spread the word.

        So we ordered chicken fried chicken and pork chop meals .. our side was fried mushrooms. Wife pork chop was ok. The salad that came with it was old and wilted.. the fried mushrooms was so greasy and just bland.. greens beans was just nasty.. the chicken fry was greasy and wasnt that good.. server was nice but only 2 glasses of tea.. was brought to me. But very nice lady . Really all around its just not a good meal for the $43 and we didnt even finish the food.. Ill will not be back to eat there again. Its been 3 years since the last time and we gave it another chance.. and I should have just went to McDonalds
