Ive used Angela as my photographer for years now and weve never had a bad experience. She is so friendly and professional with her work. Even when my daughter is being uncooperative she still gets great shots!! I recommend Special Pixels to anyone because I promise you will not be disappointed.

I chose special pixels for my wedding day and believed I was getting the best of the best. For several years Ive loved her photos and always knew I wanted to use her when I got married. Everything was going completely normal. I paid her in full months before our wedding. Three days before my wedding, a tragedy happened to her. I found out and of course made a plan just in case she had to cancel. I found another photographer and called special pixels to find out if she could still do my wedding. She reassured me she still wanted to do our photos per contract. I paid for 6 hrs of coverage with two photographers. After a few weeks I started asking when I would be getting my photos. She gave me no straight forward answer. She became very vague and did not communicate well. She didnt tell me she would be taking a long bereavement till January and that she still had weddings to complete that were before mine. She finally told me Ill be getting my photos no later than the end of February. However, my contract with her was for 12 weeks and I shouldve gotten my photos no later than February 6th. So, by February another terrible tragedy had happened to their family. After giving them space and waiting a month, I asked for my raw photos so she would not have to worry about completing the editing to my photos. She declined and was going to start working on them the night that I called. Then, her sister messaged me who I previously worked with for a few years. She told me she would be helping her sister out and would be getting my photos out to me in a few weeks. Feeling this was a good plan I agreed but asked for better communication. She said she would try. I waited nearly another month. They never updated me in a timely manner. I know losing loved ones is very difficult, this is why I asked for my raw photos. So a month goes by I hear nothing. So I called my photographer for just a date of when I would receive my pictures. I got backlash from her sister, telling me Im not allowed to speak to my photographer. That Im making their grieving process worse. So that set me off to involve a lawyer. I sent a certified letter, heard nothing back. The lawyer called her and she said that she would be working on my photos but I never heard anything more. Since she never received the certified letter I decided to send it to her through FB messenger. She immediately blocked me, her sister messaged me on April 19th that I will be receiving my photos no later than June 29th. Thats all I wanted was a date. I had to get a lawyer involved to get a simple date. A day before the date I would be receiving my photos, I heard absolutely nothing. No confirmation to make sure they have the right information they have on file for me. Her sister was being very short which I knew was coming. They said at first she would be mailing them to me, then saying emailing me the photos digitally. I received them after midnight on June 30th. I received 553 photos. I had TWO photographers. Most people get thousands of photos. I asked if she could double check to make sure she sent me all of them because guests from the wedding were asking where their photo was. She declined and told me that our contract is done. I believe her and her sister did this out of spite because of the lawyer I was going to involve. Her sister told me I lack compassion and was relentless. If you paid over 2,000 dollars and had a contract with a business you would get a lawyer involved as well. I hate leaving this review. However, I want to warn future clients what they may get into if they choose Special pixels. Edit: A majority of the photos we received were edited well
