1st picture is my hair colored platinum blonde before going here. Other pictures are results after 3 appointments and $700 invested. Naturally I have dark brown hair: Before pregnancy, I had platinum blonde hair. I took a break from bleaching it during my 1st trimester of pregnancy. My root grew out some with the majority remaining very light blonde. In June, which was 4 months after my last hair apt, I went to a Drip, because my old stylist stopped doing hair. I let the new stylist know I wanted as much blonde as possible and to blend out the root without saturating scalp just to be on the safe side in my pregnancy. She suggested highlights and low lights and did a full foil. The result was some copper highlights. She let me know that after new hair grow, the 1st apt doesnt always the wanted results. I booked a 2nd apt, a partial foil, 1 month later in July. There were some added highlights but they were all still very warm toned. She said maybe it was my hormones. I asked what developer she used and she told me 20. My past stylist used 30. I booked a 3rd apt, 1 month later, for a full foil which was yesterday. She used 30 developer this time. With it being my 3rd apt, I thought she would get the tone to match the rest of my hair. I specifically asked for a money piece to frame my face and for more highlights in the mid section so I could style half my hair up and it not look stupid. The result on top is still coppery and in the middle, there is still so much brown root after 3 apts. UPDATE: At Drip Hair Company, the failure to get my hair to the desired color after 3 appointments was blamed on my pregnancy hormones. 2 weeks later I went to a different stylist at a different salon and she was able to lighten my natural hair and achieve the desired shade with no problem.
