The contractors they use are very low training they don't know what they are doing. Total idiots damage everything around .if we told them specific things, they would go worse. THERMAL WINDOWS NEED TO FIND A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR.
THE ONE THEY HAVE ARE TOTAL IDIOTS.
CERO STAR FOR THERMAL WINDOWS REALLY BAD INSTALATION VERY POOR QUALITY.

I am giving another review because, even though I have a moisture issue, I greatly appreciate the great customer service I've received. Praying the suggestions & thought behind them works. Mr. Riley has been exceptional. Thank you very much.given help. Overall, I truly am grateful. I'm just so frustrated. Thank you.

We had 9 beautiful windows installed in February of 2023, we couldn't be happier, we had 1 installer and he was fantastic, we were very impressed considering a few of our windows were pretty large. He did an amazing job with the clean up and caulking, he was done in a day. The sound reduction was an unexpected bonus! Also I can't be sure, but I think there is a slight tint to them as well. The process went smoothly from start to finish. We will absolutely recommend this company, and couldn't be happier with our decision.

4 star windows, 1 star installation.
Mostly good windows but poor installation and maintenance service. Speed was far more important than accuracy and care to prevent damage. They struggled with the very first window. When they were done with this first window of 10, I noticed it wasn't square. It was off a full 1/4 inch top to bottom. He was not happy about me being so picky, but fixed the problem causing extra damage in the process. As I was carefully inspecting the second window he said, "this installation will take two days (instead of one) if I continued to be picky. How rude! I was told that they don't stop for lunch, but only after the job was done. So that equates to rush rush. The damage done to my drywall wasn't minor, but moderate to extreme at nearly every single window. Also, my brand new window sills were damaged. I was shocked to learn that the installation leader had been working for Thermal Windows for 13 years! I had to sand, caulk, and paint the rough-splintery wood strips they installed over the windows when they were done. I was told that this was in the contract, although I wasn't told about it beforehand.
Overall, I am reasonably pleased after almost finishing my work of restoring damage around window box areas and painting inside and out. To repair the damage they caused took hours of work.
Most of the windows are nice, have a tint that enhances privacy, and they reduce outside noise by about 2 decibels compared to the old windows. The double horizontal slider doesn't work well at all and I'm not happy with it. Please avoid purchasing one of these! The locking mechanism doesn't work right.
I cannot recommend Thermal Windows unless you do your own installation and avoid the double slider type mentioned above. Service: General window replacement
