I've got complex PTSD among other diagnosis, ADHD was diagnosed by Dr Tabor and my treatment resistant MDD had me crying and suicidal four times a day when I came to Dr Tabor and his team for help, I was unable to work and I felt I was over medicated (by previous provider at lighthouse, that refused to continue treating me) and the side effects were affecting me greatly. With a few medication adjustments and a journey with Spravato treatments twice a week I'm improving and I might have a breakdown once a day now, if that. I'm still battling severe self-harm tendencies, daily, but at least the despair has let up some and I have hope I haven't had in a long time. Tamara is a gem, her realness helps a lot and she's very knowledgeable! I've also just started counseling with Kristy and I've felt more comfortable to share with her than I have, ever really and I've been in counseling and medication management with countless providers since 1998, so that's saying somwthing. Both ladies that work the check-in desks are friendly and helpful. Alma especially has a way with making you feel heard and attended to. Sometimes my disability interferes with my ability to understand and explain things, especially when I'm triggered or in a moment of psychosis but I've never felt judged or pushed aside by anyone there, and I've had a few melt downs (one via text with Rosa) they were nothing but soft hearted helpers for. Together this team has saved my life, if I think about where I was headed before their help. My anxiety was constantly 8/10, for so long! But now it feels more like a 6/10 with occasional spikes. I'll take it. Oh and they are kind to work with me on a payment plan to cover my portion until I meet deductible. I can't say enough--

I had the most heartbreaking time using this office. The providers are great and Tamra is an EXCELLENT asset to the health of people in ardmore. The fatal flaw is in the office staff and the lady in charge of the Spravato treatment. After multiple failed attempts to get my depression and OCD under control me and my provider agreed to do the Spravato treatment. The lady in charge had me take a test and provide additional information which took WEEKS to complete due to a lack of communication. Eventually it got to the point where my calls and messages were not returned so I went up there in person. She was profusely apologetic and promised to get me in a couple of weeks from now. I have not heard from anyone for months. I suffer on a daily basis and I feel like I was swept under a rug and forgotten. It is wrong and unacceptable to forget about people this way. If you need medication management or diagnosis then go for it. If they want you to do the Spravato treatment save your health and time.

A review update after being under Dr. Tabor care for a year. Still 5 stars. I appreciate him and recommend him. I have never had any issues with his staff. A year later and I still highly recommend Dr. Tabor.

Dr. Tabor is a rare find! He's great and "real" it's hard even to get booked anywhere, nevertheless with an empathetic professional.

I was told by my medical provider that Dr.Tabor was a really good psychiatrist and I should see about going to him as a client. I have been under the care of psychiatrists and counselors since around 1994(give or take a couple of years). I was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident while working as a social worker with DHS in Ardmore. Because of the severity of the accident and the way I was treated by DHS and the state of Oklahoma I was referred to both a psychiatrist and counselor. I took my medical provider's and went to Dr. Tabor. I thought it would work out for me but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The first time I saw him was good but my follow-up. I was scheduled for an in office visit but since I was not feeling well we changed it to a virtual. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED AND TAKEN ABACK WITH THAT APPOINTMENT!!!! DR. TABOR MAY HAVE SPENT A TOTAL OF 4 OR 5 MINUTES. HE ASKED IF MY MEDS WERE WORKING OK. HE ASKED IF I NEEDED ANY REFILLS. WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I DIDN'T KNOW RIGHT OFF HAND AND HE SAID HE WOULD CHECK INTO IT!!!!! THAT WAS ALL!!!!! HE DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A CHANCE TO TELL HIM IF THERE WAS ANYTHING GOING ON IN MY LIFE THAT I WANTED TO DISCUSS WITH HIM!!!!! AFTER HE ASKED THE QUESTIONS I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HIM ABOUT SOMETHING THAT WAS TROUBLING ME WITH MY MEDICAL PROVIDER AND WHILE I WAS TRYING TO GATHER MY THOUGHTS I STARTED TO BEGIN AND BEFORE I COULD GET MAYBE 3 WORDS OUT(WHICH I KNOW HE DIDN'T EVEN HEAR) HE ENDED THE APPOINTMENT!!!!!!! I WAS BEYOND SHOCKED AND I WAS EXTREMELY UPSET ABOUT THE WAY MY SO-CALLED VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT WENT I SENT A MESSAGE TO THE COUNSELOR I WAS SEEING IN HIS OFFFICE AND I ASKED HER TO CONTACT ME ASAP!!!! I WAITED A FOR A REPLY AND TWO DAYS WEBT BY THEN THREE DAYS WENT BY SO I FINALLY CALLED HER AND LEFT HER A MESSAGE ASKING HER TO PHONE ME THE VERY NEXT DAY DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS. AS OF THIS DATE I HAVE HEARD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM HER; IN THE TEXT MESSAGE I SENT TO HER I EXPLAINEDHAT I NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH HER ASAP(I'M STILL WAITING FOR A RETURNED CALL OR MESSAGE FROM HER AND IT'S BEEN OVERTWO WEEKS SINCE I TRIED TO CONTACT HER)!!!! IF SOMEONE ASKED ME IF I WOULD SUGGEST ANYONE GO TO TABOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TO SEE DR. TABOR OR THE COUNSELOR I WAS SEEING I WOULD HAVE TO TELL THEM "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!! NO ONE MESSES WITH MY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL HEALTH; NO ONE!!!!!
