Asahi Japanese Hibachi & Sushi Bar

First off I would like to say that the restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. I was greeted quickly and nicely when I came in but did have to wait a little longer than expected for my pickup order. No big deal. The big deal was that my salmon Hibachi dinner was almost unedible. The presentation was great and it looked like it was going to be absolutely delicious. However the only thing I could eat was rice and half of my vegetables. They douse whatever sauce they use all over them and they were soaked in it. I've also been eating salmon a long time and I highly doubt this was salmon that I had last night. It wasn't even pink and tasted terrible. I had two bites and I knew that was two bites too many. It wasn't a very busy night and I understand sometimes it's hit and miss, last night was a huge miss! If I ever decide to come back, I definitely will not be getting the salmon here ever again.

Food was very good, although raw fish isn't my thing. Service was very attentive and nice. Atmosphere was also good.

Great place for various Japanese food. We ordered sushi and it was excellent.
