I rented of McCollister & Assoc. Real Estate for 2 1/2 years. I was never late on my rent most of the repairs that needed done in my apartment I completed and was reimbursed. I had an issue with the shower I reported this issue to the management for several months and nothing was done. My lease had expired I was renting month by month I gave a two weeks notice went in and cleaned we shampooed we moped we bleached all appliances and wiped all the walls. They are attempting to hold my deposit because they state my apartment smells like animal oder. I did have a dog but he stayed in a room with a tiled floor where his kennel was located. I am ocd my house was always spotless and my neighbors can vouch for that. I work 100+ hours a week my dog went to work with me so there was no accidents on the tile floor. I just want to warn future renters of the treatment of this company.
