Grinnell Mill B&B

Lovely B&B! Rented all three rooms so we could have the whole place to ourselves, great place for a family meetup!

Such a great experience. We, 2 families, rented all of the rooms. Having this huge space all to yourself is really lets you relax. It is incredibly well reconditioned. The kitchen is well provisioned. There is a trail directly from the mill to Glen Helen park (to your right when exiting the mill). That connects into the other parks. It's so nice to start hiking right from your doorstep. There is another trail (to the left when exiting), that takes you through a covered bridge. Some small things: We couldn't get the fireplace to work. The upstairs rooms were really hot at night in the winter time. All in all, it is a unique place that is well worth it. Nearby activities: The parks nearby have very nice gorge hikes. The aviary is definitely worth a visit.

Nice restored mill. Not much in the way of breakfast but still well worth it! Very clean.

Only down side is access to bike trails is not the best in terms riding out from the place. However it is less than a mile, so transporting to the trail was our option. Rooms: Rooms were spacious and comfortable and all had great views. Walkability: Less than a mile to bike trail but that would be on a moderately busy 2 lane road with no shoulders and up hill all the way

Stayed for a wedding close by and the reception at the Glenn. There are three bedrooms with their own bathrooms which was perfect. We rented the whole building for the weekend and what time we were there was exceptional. Clean, historical and quiet. They stock the fridge with plenty of breakfast items. Coffee and tea were available to brew.
