This place never listens to me when I need them to if it wasn't my closest hospital I'd never go here. I literally have a machine to help breathe and it suffocated me to wear it and they won't even order the change for it til a week from now apparently. Not to mention when I have testing done here ordered by my dr they always forget to send results its usually several months of constantly calling and asking for it to be sent over before it actually gets done. If you're able to go elsewhere for medical help please do so this place is an absolute joke. I also had a hospital visit due to an adverse reaction to a medication and almost passed out my bp was extremely low and heart rate dropping and I couldn't even get a receptionist at the er for at least 30 minutes of screaming for help in between labored breathing. Not to mention my boyfriend showed up with a separated sternum and they GAVE HIM NITRO as a medication and said it'll go away in a few days. THATS MALPRACTICE.

I was referred to Adams County Regional Medical Center by Dr. Bernheisel at ACRMC Family Medicine in West Union after experiencing some knee pain. Dr. Renshaw, the orthopedic doctor recommended I get x-rays and see a physical therapist. I completed both. The imaging department got me in and the process was super easy and the staff were very pleasant. I completed physical therapy and my knee feels great.

Very quick to misdiagnose based on two symptoms that overlap multiple medical issues rather than tests, and gave me prescription immunosuppressants in which 8 days after starting, I ended up getting VERY sick which eventually developed into severe pneumonia. They also gave me an IV medication that I ended up being allergic to and I was told it would be on my listed allergies, however, it was not on the listed allergies on my discharge papers NOR was it on the list of medications received while in the ER. I was told what it was by the nurse, but I had forgotten it due to how much was happening, and I was under the false pretense I'd know what it was anyway because it was supposed to be on my discharge papers. When I went to another hospital due to the severe pneumonia, I called ACRMC because I wanted to know what the medication I was allergic to was named. They would not give me any information, and essentially beat around the bush. The hospital I was at had to wait around to administer IV medication for me while ACRMC sent them the paperwork. It's one thing to give a patient a medication they don't know they're allergic to, but it's ANOTHER thing to cover it up and not give them any information. Other than the poor service given by the woman on the phone, and the poor diagnosis, the nurses are nice and I only waited a couple of minutes in the waiting room.
