SkyRidge Roofing and Masonry

Here is my recent experience with Skyridge Roofing and Masonry. I have 2 skylights that need replaced due to being 30 years old. I called Skyridge Roofing back in the end of August to set up an appointment for an estimate. The guy showed up for the estimate, took measurements for about 2 minutes and said I will have the estimate back to you in a week. A month later September 21st, I finally get an email from Skyridge for the skylight windows. It was a fair price and the reviews online seem decent for the company so I decided to hire them for the job. On October 6th I called them to let them know I wanted to accept the estimate and they immediately said they could get me on the schedule and would need a 30% deposit which they could do via my credit card on the phone. They were very quick to charge my card and give me a receipt. In the email with the receipt, they said your job will be in about 3 weeks time and I will call you closer to that time to give a date. I felt comfortable with the transaction and thought nothing of it. Fast forward 5 weeks to November 8th. I call to see what is going on with my project. Skyridge roofing stated they were checking to make sure that the windows were the proper model from the supplier and are awaiting a response. Then I wait another till November 17 and call Skyridge again. This time I get an answer that the windows are correct and that my project is on the priority list and that it will be done before December. On November 30th I call again and ask when the project will be done, their response was that they will be able to get to my project for sure next week. It depends on the weather. They assured me that they would call the day ahead to let me know when they are coming. Today is December 7th and I have heard absolutely nothing about scheduling my skylight install. To make matters worse, they are not returning my calls today. I am at my wits end with this process. After waiting 9 weeks ( when I was told originally it would be 3 weeks) I have lost my patience. And now the weather truly is a limiting factor. This project had plenty of opportunities to be done in the fall. My major mistake was giving them money upfront. I trusted the online reviews and I got stung. Skyridge roofing needs to either give me the windows that I paid for or refund my deposit to make this issue go away. I warned them that I would leave bed reviews if they ignored me and here we are. I hope this helps future customers in making a decision with this company.

Shaun Pierce was very prompt. He addressed our concerns. Fixed our roof within a week. Would definitely hire skyridge again.
