Hello Deafby18,Thank you for providing a photo with this review. We reviewed the photo you provided and we have found some inconsistencies in the work done on this tank in comparison to the work we do. Due to this we feel that there is a misunderstanding as we do not feel that we installed this Rinnai.We see that there are soldered joints leading into the tank. Firstly we have been exclusively using the Ridgid ProPress fittings for the last 15 years. All pictures of Hofmann installed Rinnai's in our company records that we put in 2010+ have these described ProPress fittings installed. I would like to also include that the specific wall straps shown are not ones that we have ever stocked in shop, we specifically use standoff wall hangers. Additionally Looking at the heat exchanger in this Rinnai, we see that it is copper and they haven't used that model that in over 5 years as they are currently stainless steel. Which also greatly reduces the chance that this was a recent installation by us.Standard installation always includes screens on the intake and the exhaust and IF this was installed over 15 years ago, they could have been accidentally removed within that timeframe.Do you happen to know the installation date so we can look into our records more? Can you please contact our office via phone or email to look into these problems, we would be happy to discuss this with you. At best, we think there is a chance that we visited to flush the system, however that does not mean that we installed the unit itself we merely maintenanced it for the year. If this was indeed our install we would like to work with you to rectify any issues you may have had.
