Bar Louie - Westlake

Our visit here was pleasant. The food was good and the service was also good. Would come back.

This place has gone down hill. My husband and I used to come here often and we haven't been been back in months. Today we went in and had quite possibly the worst service. Wasn't sure if our waitress was drunk since it's St. Patty's day or what the deal was. We asked for kids menus and they were out no big deal. We were sat at a booth that was repaired with duct tape. Asked for sprite and they didnt have any. Asked for a new beer that was showcased on their menu and they were out. Our glasses were dirty as well as our plates for appetizers. We said nothing because we don't want to be "those kind of people" But then it just continued to get worse. Our waitress completely forgot to take our order (mind you it was not that busy!!) I literally had to ask if we could order now. We waited well over 10 minutes for our drinks that were just sitting at the bar getting warm. To top it all off we asked for a box and she completely ignored us and carried on conversations with other servers. I literally had to go up to the bar and ask for one. Idk what was going on but this is not the bar louie I used to love coming to.

My son broke his wrist skateboarding on a Sunday night, which led to several hours in the ER. We were all starving by the time we were getting his paperwork. It was around 11:30 pm, so we knew we had to order something for pick up soon, or everything would be closed. I jumped on Doordash to see what was open in the area. Found a place called Macs & Stacks which ended up being Bar Louie. Kind of pricey but looked good and we were hungry so we placed an order for pickup. Our order (see photos) consisted of 3 chicken sandwiches and an order of Tater Tots. My fiance left to get the food about 20 min after, while my son and I waited to get released. When my fiance left the order should've been done by the time he arrived. He went in to a pretty much empty restaurant, bar stools up for the night, and only one other customer. The bartender informed him that they don't make the food until the customer arrives and said it would be about 15 min. He waited almost 30 and during that time, watched another doordash customer come right in and was handed the food he was picking up immediately. Understanding the industry he didn't complain. Once we got home and opened the food we saw we were given to orders of Mac n cheese, and one plain chicken sandwich. The only changes we made to our order were no blue cheese and no spicy tomato sauce. Needless to say we were less than happy. Not only did he have to sit there for 30 min waiting but nothing we ordered was correct. They were completely different meals. So after 5 hours at the ER, $50 spent on 3 sandwiches on an order of Tots, my fiance and I went to bed hungry due to it being so late. Doordash refunded us but still extremely disappointed at the lack of care and customer service.
