Residences at Riverpointe Place

My girlfriend and i lived there for 4 years. No kids and no pets. We paid our rent on time. The place only has one property manager, which means if you are not on her good sides, you will be very uncomfortable. A young lady, she is very sweet at the beginning to get you through the door. After she tends to be very rude to the tenants. Anytime we request some type of services from the apartment, they will never show up or show up with an attitude. The lady, i believe her name is Nicole has no respect and will quickly give you a 60 day notice if you make a complaint, request or not on her list of tenants she only associate with. I don't recommend if management remains the same.

So I came out here in 2020 and it was a great start. Natalie was the manager, she wasn't the best but she was professional and she communicated. My AC went out very shortly after I moved in and Natalie took awhile to get me a solution but it was honestly not her problem as it was the winter time and there wasn't much she could do. She did get me an AC unit and it was fixed the next time there was no snow! Once Natalie left, Nicole was assigned here and it was great at first, until it wasn't. Nicole appeared to be professional at first but then she became so wrapped up in the mess and even played roles in it in the complex. The complex went from a 10 to a solid 2, it's like she was just moving any and everyone in that would fill the apartments including felons. There have never been police out there so much and it's because of the people that are being moved out here. There's lots of domestic violence (Nicole and her boyfriend included)Nicole talks to the residents about each other, telling personal business, the grounds are not well kept anymore there's trash, cigarette butts, condoms, and don't even get started on the pool in the summer, the people are a lot to deal with and nothing Is done. Nicole enforces the rules for everyone except her friends and even has a felon living in her own home but the property claims they don't accept felons, it has turned into the hood out here and I refuse to pay the price for it. The management, Amy and Matt, are a complete JOKE. If we wanted to tell them anything going on and we called corporate, Matt would call Nicole and tell her to handle it, and Amy is apparently too good to speak to the residents. I had a dangerous safety issue with one of the tenants, Todd. Todd was literally stalking me and even tried getting me fired from my job. I had to call the police and things are in process legally but when I tried escalating each incident to corporate, Matt called Nicole, told her we will have to deal with the police and then had her call me and do nothing about it. Not everything was bad out here though, Jerome, the maintenance man was AMAZING and VERY professional. Any time I put in a maintenance request he was timely and always kept me up to date on my repairs. When I fell on hard times, I was able to do a payment arrangement to catch back up and for that I will forever be grateful. Also, these are Westerville schools, love the school district Overall, right now, I would give this property 2 stars.

Edited review: I have changed my 1-star to 3-star. Previous review was a very long complaint about poor maintenance times, broken AC/microwaves and poor management. We have had a management change (again) and are happy with current management. Reaponsive to concerns in a timely manner. Our AC did not go out over the summer (the past three summers it went out every year), and weve had no problems with other appliances. This is a quiet neighborhood, and really the best value for the area. The stairs and carpet are a little dated, but nothing to really complain about. This isnt on the apartment complex itself, but just an FYI if we get a substantial amount of rain quickly, the street will flood causing the complex to flood. This past summer it flooded pretty badly, causing property Damage to some first floor apartments. Poor sewage system on the cities part, not on the complex.

I have had such a wonderful experience working with the property manager Nicole, that I wanted to leave a review! Little backstory: My current complex is giving everyone 60 day notices to leave when their lease is up so they can remodel and raise the rent $300-450. This rent increase along with the short notice to leave has put me in a pretty bad spot considering I am a single mom and was not planning to move until I was at least done with school. Long story short, after days of looking and still no luck, I was beyond stressed trying to find a decent, affordable place in a good school district. I heard about Riverpointe, so I called and talked to Nicole and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. She took the time to really listen, and was very kind, considerate and helpful. I knew immediately that she truly cares about people and wants to do what she can to help. It was the first time in days that I hung up the phone feeling better about my situation. Nicole really helped lift a weight off my shoulders. I am so relieved to have found this place and could not have asked for better customer service and support!
