Buckeye Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

My mom has only been there for 2 days and shes already fell out the bed. I calling and no one is answering. The voicemail is full! Other terrible stuff has happened within these 2 day but point of this post is just to get someone to reach out to me

I have seen the negative reviews, and I can say that the facility is under new management and they have done a great job to correct and attempt to provide the best living space possible for their patients. New staff and a new administration has gone a long way during 2022.

This place needs SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!! I worked through agency there, and wow! They dont take care of the residents properly, they all needed showers. They dont pass trays and one time they went without eating dinner. The place is run down & smells so bad.

I WOULD RATHER BE DEAD THAN GO BACK THERE. My sister was there for a brief time because once we saw the care she was getting (and others), I had moved promptly. I can't believe I'm saying this but this place is SCARY. I felt like the head staff was out of ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST (except in the movie, the facility was nice and clean). Not this place. My feet stuck to the floor from dried urine, her money that was in her drawer was stolen. I called the Director and she said 'they had her money in the office'. Did I get it back? Of course not, even though I called her repeatedly and I finally just gave up. One room she was in I had to practically sit on her roommates bed because they were about 5 inches apart and the other side of her bed was 5 inches from a window. I had to sit on the curtain separating them and almost pulled it down. I won't go on, I'm sure you get the point. If I could have given it a zero, I would have. (this was back in 2018)
