I will say from experience that the staff at this location pressures patients into providing positive reviews after routine visits so I wouldn't trust their current rating or reviews as accurate. I won't get into the unfortunate details of my family's experience (they aren't pretty) because every business should have the opportunity to improve, so I'll simply share our general thoughts and experience and let you do your own research. We started as patients at this location over a decade ago, before it was associated with Sampson Dental. Since Sampson took over, the staff changes frequently, the business practices are extremely questionable and the care is middle of the road at best. If you are considering a dentist and value honesty, integrity and customer service, I would strongly suggest you keep looking at other options. Responding to the owner's comment below: You are correct, after our repeated negative experiences, and the staff not addressing our concerns or returning calls, we found another provider and have not been back to Sampson Dental since...so hopefully things have improved. But to be clear my review and comments are specifically for the Westerville Sampson Dental located at 135 Hoff Rd B, Westerville, OH 43082 that we attended for more than a decade.

Dr Haren is amazing as well as his assistant! I have always had a fear of dentists, but I can tell you I no longer do. Dr Haren and his assistant are so kind and caring. I was never uncomfortable or fearful. He let me know every step of the way what was happening. It was truly the best experience I have ever had. The entire office is so warm and welcoming. The Team makes you feel as if you have been friends for a very long time. Such a pleasant experience. I can't Thank them enough!!!

I ended up walking out because of the unprofessionalism. The woman who poked and prodded in my mouth never said hello, or introduced herself. She then told me I needed $60 in cash to receive any service. When I voiced my understanding of my insurance. She said "wait a minute" and left the room. It felt very Sketchy and Scammy, Bait and switch.

If I could give a zero, I would. Typically I do not give bad reviews, for each persons experiences are different. Our family has been going there for years. Unfortunately, with the staff turnover, its gone downhill. I tried multiple times to resolve the issue, and left several messages. The unprofessionalism takes the cake here. The office itself, looks to be ran down as well. Update from response, as mentioned before, very unprofessional in practice. I do not dispute knowing and paying for what insurance doesnt cover. However, never have I encountered scheduling a six month cleaning, being 10 days early and not being told we should schedule those days out. I was in the right month, but ten days early! Appears money seems to be the driving force and not the patient.
