Dr. Polaks office has been one of the most unorganized offices I have been to. Not only was I not given other weight loss options other than surgery. The appointments they set up were useless. Having me meet with 3 different nutritionists, within 1 week of each other. All of them telling me contradictory things to one another and giving no time to actually implement what advice they were giving. I had no pre-op appointment until I told them of the fact 5 days before my scheduled surgery to which the doctor was 15 minutes late before I left, giving them the same timeframe they give patients Before canceling their appointment. All of these things combined lead me to cancel surgery as well as any other appointments with the office. They made it abundantly clear my health was not actually a priority for them, but rather just getting me under the knife was.
