Louis Okafor, MD

My mother had two very challenging hip replacements (bones were fusing together) and Dr Okafor took amazing care of her. He's thorough, knowledgeable, and has wonderful bedside manner. After at least ten years of her living with significant amounts of pain while looking for the right surgeon, and now having gone through two major surgeries with Dr Okafor, she says she was just waiting to meet him and felt like he was the surgeon she needed. We're so grateful she ended up with him and we cannot recommend him enough to anyone needing a phenomenal orthopedic surgeon, especially if it's a challenging/complex issue you're dealing with! The whole practice is awesome but you cannot go wrong with this surgeon!

Dr. Okafor is the best. He's very kind, and informative. He performed a total right hip replacement for me. He done a great job. I'm glad he was the one. Very satisfied

Excellent service!!! I'm a former college and pro football player now in my 50's. I've had multiple surgeries from my neck to my knees. My most recent issues have been my hips. I've seen 3 different hip surgeons over the past 4 years since moving into the area. None thought surgery was the next best step to deal with my pain. I was advised to take medication, lose weight and try therapy. Tried all of that. The pain only increased and I suffered a lot and spent a lot of money trying all kinds of non surgical treatments! Finally, I met Dr. Okafor at the advice of my friend who is a PT. Out of all the doctors I met, Dr Okafor spent the most time with me, assessing my condition and determining the best course of action. He performed a hip replacement. I was concerned about my size being a problem for him. (6'3" 300lbs) 1 month out and my new hip is doing great!!! No problem for Dr Okafor. I highly recommend him! His staff are also sharp, professional and efficient. Lastly, his bedside manner is second to none, if that matters to you. I've see A LOT of doctors over the decades all across the country. I'm glad we have a great one right here in the Dayton area.

We love, love, love Dr, Okafor! My sister & I took our mother for her follow-up appt on 02/07/23. Dr. Okafor was very attentive, caring, explained everything in detail & invited questions. He offered to reach out to my mother's PCP to kindly offer a medication suggestion. Thank You!!
