Rachel Houck is very knowledgeable and kind. She is gifted with the ability to have difficult conversations in an honest, direct manner while also extending grace and patience to her clients.
It is easy to see that Rachel is passionate about estate planning and elder law. It is refreshing to see someone advocating for our elderly population who are often a vulnerable target of dishonest people.
I feel confident that she has my parents' best interest at heart. Thank you, Rachel, for helping my family!! I highly recommend Rachel Houck for all your estate planning needs!

I spoke with 5 attorneys prior to finding Rachel Houck. She was the only person who understood how I felt about making sure I left my estate to my only son. Everyone else I spoke with made me feel like I should be ashamed for wanting to leave something to my family when I should be worried about paying for my care. You work all your life in hopes of leaving something to your family to help make their life easier. With long term care you either have to have cash put back or an estate to sell to pay for your nursing home or assisted living expense should you get to that point. Call me stupid or nave but until I started caring for my sister and checking in to things I didn't realize that if you didn't have finances to pay for nursing or assisted living that the state would take your assets to pay for it. I thought after working all my life that Medicare would step in and take care of everything. I guarantee you that so far out of the 35 years I have worked fulltime non-stop and still continue to work that I have paid in more than enough in taxes to the government for them to pay for my care if needed. I totally recommend Rachel and her law firm to help with your estate planning!
