    I visited this place on Jan 22, 2024 but I will not be visiting this business again. They did not greet me or ask If I needed any help while I browsed their merchandise. Did any one else have this problem?

    I called Mr. Shrader to verify my order and engraving on my order that was recommended by the Pines. There was a slight change in the engraving. I had just talked to Mr. Shrader on the phone on the change of engraving. And we agreed on a follow-up conversation. I called Mr. Shrader back a few minutes later to finalize the change. A co-worker answered the phone. She stated she could make the change. I stated I had just got off the phone with Mr. Shrader and wanted to talk to him. She did not like that. What she did not know is I had in the past had a problem with engraving by another company years ago, and the problem became beyond repair. So, I wanted to make sure the engraving was done properly by keeping the communication between the same person. When I went to pick up my dog's ashes later in the day, the same lady I spoke with on the phone serviced me. SHE MADE IT A POINT TO BE KURT AND RUDE! I don't understand the Hateful Behavior!

Hi Robert, I normally haven't responded to our reviews and I should; when people take the time to say something about our business that is usually quite nice I should take the time to thank them for shopping with us and trusting us with their engraving needs. This time though I need to defend my co-worker that you are saying you had a problem with. First of all, she is one of the most caring and respectful people I have worked with, and secondly I was sitting six feet from the counter during this transaction and am certain that she was professional and not rude. I know that the loss of a pet is a very stressful and horrible time; we have been working with the Pines Pet Cemetery for over 20 years now and do our best to deal with these trying circumstances. In your case, as we try to do with most urns, we had your engraving finished in less than two days time when we are running about a week in turnaround time. Thirdly, you said that it was better than you had expected. I tried to see what your other 166 reviews were like but couldn’t get to them unless I follow you. As a business owner that works long hours doing my best every day and lucky enough to find people that care about our customers and our business as much as I do I felt that I should address this. I am sorry for your loss and hope to see you again in the future.
