Mixed feelings. Appointment with doctor was uneventful, very standard. She was kind and knowledgeable and explained all the pricing to me up front. But I had many problems after that were not dealt with in a kind manner. I opted to order contacts myself vs. through the office. They still ordered me lab trials, and gave me a paper prescription. When I went to order the contacts, I was told the prescription written was not only incorrect but not a possible prescription that existed. I called the office to see if they had accidentally reversed some of the numbers. The support staff told me I must have put the prescription in wrong, I assured them that I did not and even called online Target Optical to confirm the prescription number was not a valid value. I was now concerned that the office had ordered me the incorrect lab trial lenses. I called back, when I told them the prescription had to have been written incorrect they told me it "hadn't been finalized yet" and hung up immediately before I could respond. I went in person to receive a prescription with the lab trials, and sure enough, the doctor had written the prescription wrong as I had suspected. I am not upset over the mistake about the prescription, but that I was told at every step that I was putting the rx in wrong or that it "hadn't been finalized." I caught the mistake the day of, and they didn't listen to me. Stretched it out over weeks instead of an hour. The original prescription was not even a possible value, it was wrong, it was a mistake. Take responsibility, fix it, and do so with kindness. I am upset over the disrespect and demeaning manner in which I was spoken to by supportive staff (not Le'anna by the way, she was great).
