Called me come pick up my son on a trial day.. to see if he'd like it. Calls me after 3 hours to come get him because he was sitting at the table and clapping his toddler hands on the table. What. Haha. I also noticed her office. Too unprofessional and looked like a teenager's bedroom. The rest of the place was dim.. not dirty, but run down looking. I think she loves the state money and likes the kids. I was turned off by the looks of it and the impatience and bratty way of needing a kid picked up for whatttt.. clapping hands/ banging hands on a table. Pathetic.

She is a very unorganized boss, does not have her ducks in a row to effectively and efficiently run a daycare. Yes the staff are very respectful and yes Stephanie can SOMETIMES is respectful. But is also very rude at times with her responses towards staff. I honestly can't say that she has it all together with her business. I had to take a week off work when I had already been there physical working with the kids for a week. We were waiting on fingerprinting, and I understand that a individual isn't supposed to be working around children until their background check comes back clear. My background check came back clear, but she had me working around the children before it was completed, then had to take a week off of work until it came back in. She lied to me about the position and pay. I had applied for assistant teacher, when it came time for her to interview me she waited until after the interview ended to say the position was no longer available and she needed a lead toddler teacher. She had told me initially that my pay would be $15 an hour and that I would be interviewing for the assistant teacher position. That ended up not being the case, she lied and said she needed a lead toddler teacher and the pay would be $15. Then upon my first day at work she told me my pay is 14.50 and after 30 days it will go up to 15 an hour. So not only was I lied to about the position she was interviewing me for but lied about the pay as well. I didn't get put on payroll until my first check, she expected me to do my training videos at home (with no pay) when she never gave me enough time to do them at work. Then would be upset when I had nonhelp at work so incould do my training videos. She would always cut corners until she knew if the state was dropping by. She has good intentions but is not a GREAT BOSS WHO IS managed or well put togeter well!!

Over the past couples of weeks I have constantly toured different daycares and was frustrated that no one left reviews so I thought I could change the narrative. My child was with this daycare for about 5 months. And it was honestly a good daycare. They recently received 5 stars which is the highest rating you can get. The administrator Stephanie is very organized and can get you in really fast. She is very honest regarding childs development. Unfortunately, some teachers dont have the experience and knowledge to be able to best care for children who may require some extra attention. We agreed that finding another facility was in the best interest of my child due to fussiness/crying during quiet time. Although I was heartbroken Stephanie was very nice and honest, reassuring me that If some of the staff had more education on how to care for children that may present more of a challenge (in our case, self soothing) - this would have been a perfect fit.
