Stonerise Home Health & Hospice

My husband passed 2 years ago with cancer, I don't know how I would have been able to care for him without stonerise. They were so helpful I could call Jess anytime day or night never she never failed to call me. The other nurses were also great. I would highly recommend stonerise

I couldn't of found better help than the hospice team from Stonerise at home hospice to help me with my mom. They were there every step of the way for us. I highly recommend them. Great team of people!!!

It was comfort to me to know the Stonerise employees were caring for my sister, Mary, when I was unable to due to my own health issues. Don't change a thing, you are A-1 as you are. A big thank you to Stonerise Hospice.

My name is Bill Street and I had a lovely wife Kathy, that God graciously gave us 30 years to share each others life . Unfortunately Kathy was invaded by cancer and it was in an advanced stage when it was discovered. She bravely battled the disease by taking chemo treatments and additional medication on a regular basis for nearly one year, but because of her advanced stage of cancer the treatments only slowed the advancement of the cancer. The last thing Kathy wanted, and even more so myself, was to move her out of her home that she had special feelings for. Thank God for Stonerise at Home and Hospice care, for without the wonderful care provided by them, she would have spent most of the last year of her life not at home, for there would not have been any way that I could take care of her. The following girls were angels in Kath'y's care and my emotional support. 1. Katie - Katie was a registered nurse and she took care of all the nursing items required for Kathy's care, for instance cleaning her port. Not only did she provide medical care but she also became like family, and we always looked forward to her visits, including our dog who couldn't wait to be let outside to greet her when she came. 2. Carol - Carol became my needed support during Kathy's latter stages of her fight with cancer. Carol would come and help whenever I would call her. I was experiencing Kathy rapidly dying and Carol would explain to me what to expect, and provide me medication to help her pain. She comforted Kathy and made her dying less terrifying. Carol also helped to clean Kathy and physically move her to help her be more comfortable. When Kathy died I called Carol and she was here in a short period of time. I would not know what I would have done without her. 3. Daniele and Michelle - Daniele and Michelle made regular visits to just talk, which helped Kathy and I so much. They were always available for a phone call if I needed help and they also called often to see how we were doing. There support was so meaningful to Kathy and I. I can't express how valuable Stonerise at Home and Hospice can be to a family that has a family member that is dying. I have a lot of good memories of Kathy's last year, thanks to the dedicated help of the above listed girls.
