        Bugs everywhere, apartment was not cleaned at all, I still find random bugs its so annoying I cant even move because nothing else is available now. They show it way different in the pictures

        Terrible experience. Ive been calling and visiting their office since Ive moved in, my apt was in disgusting condition upon arrival. There was even hair all over the inside of the fridge?! They insist someone will come fix things the same day, yet no one comes. Its like they have no understanding of what emergency maintenance is. Ive been here for only a week and I already know Im in for a terrible year here.

        Good location, friendly staff. Im removing one star because its mid-June and the pool still isnt open. Ive contacted the real estate company CREI that owns this place, and they said that they wont be taking $$ off my rent despite the fact that amenities (e.g., the pool) are included in my rent, and it was supposed to be open on Memorial Day.

        Beautiful apartments for an affordable price. I like how close it is to everything in town. I just signed a lease, keeping my fingers crossed. Seems like such a nice place to stay with very friendly staff and residents. definitely should check it out if you are looking for a nice apartment in town.

        Oxford students, do not live here! Or, do... if you like not having hot water for over 8 days when you move in. If you like moving into a filthy apartment covered in human & cat hair, underwear in the washer, and old cat toys laying around! Other things to consider is that 24/7 maintenance is a LIE. Maintenance is only available during office hours, not during Sundays. So if you have an emergency you're on your own. This place is also amazing if you want your packages to be stolen. In the few months I've lived here my packages have been stolen from the main office twice and the staff has blamed me and my roommates rather than reflecting on the fact that leaving their office open without a staff member in site isn't a great idea (I have gone in there to find no staff around more times than I can count).

      Hey, Alexis! Thanks for your feedback. We apologize that your experience at The Commons has been anything less than 5 stars. We have undergone some recent changes within the management team and are excited for them to get started! We do offer 24-hour emergency maintenance, which include lockouts, safety hazards and floods. They are available just by calling the office after hours and selected emergency maintenance. Regarding your packages, we check them in daily and send you a text or email letting you know when they arrive to the office. If they don't arrive to the office, you can always contact the post office to find out where they are! We'll be contacting you soon to try to resolve your issues further. Thanks!
