I wanted to avoid any extended drama and unnecessary emotional suffering at the hands of third party lawyers and an overwhelmed court system when recently dealing with my divorce. I then researched the practice of mediation and thought it looked like a positive option. Sheila Duffy best represents this new avenue for people who want to expedite the process but are daunted and intimidated by the rule of law. Sheila is a "no nonsense" compassionate agent of the system who is somehow able to navigate both parties to an agreement that might otherwise get dragged through the court system, wasting both time and money. While patient, understanding and empathetic she will not hesitate to clarify issues that couples may disagree on with the current divorce laws which in turn allows for a quicker resolution to "fuzzy" matters. Sheila's experience and savvy, matched with her warmth and humor make a very difficult challenge as easy as it can get. Divorce Mediator, Sheila Duffy is a great person and clearly understands divorce law and it's process. Although my divorce is not yet completed, my wife and I both have been extremely impressed with her genuine approach and her great personality.
