        Servpro did a great job repairing water damage in our basement. They did the tear out, then repaired the drywall and trim, painted and installed the new flooring. The quality of the work done was really excellent and everyone on the team was friendly and clearly cared about doing a good job for us.

        Servpro helped us when our basement flooded! We were new home owners, only being in our home for about 3 months and were completely overwhelmed! Thankfully Servpro was beyond friendly and helpful! They knew what I needed and they were very informative about the process and even helped us communicate with our insurance company! They gave us great useful tips for the future along with a guaranteed and extremely timely service!! I definitely recommend Servpro to anyone who needs help with any type of flood or fire damage!

        After mitigation key individuals ghosted me on my project and left me stranded to finish it. Unless your willing to give them all the insurance money on this project from start to finish, I cannot recommend this company. The most efficient person in the organization works in billing. This ought to tell you everything you need to know. I have never posted a bad review, but the owner was even aware and didn't call to inquire. Update: apparently the way to get management to respond is to post on google. Imagine what would have happened if they returned my phone calls. . No empathy, attempt to understand the problem, misinformation. All defensive posturing. I never said they didnt follow the insurance rules for mitigation. I informed their team from the start my expectations for the project. Their business development person said they basically wouldnt do it because they dont get enough money from insurance said she would check with the owner and never called back. Another manager said he would check with the owner and never called me back. Only their accounting manager was kind, answered my questions and was helpful. Whats done is done.

      Super important, the source of the water intrusion must be corrected prior to beginning water mitigation services. The water source was due to holes in the foundation walls of the basement allowing water to enter during rain/storms. It is not always cost effective to hire a provider to stand guard and extract water while the water is entering the property. We can and will strategize with you and refer the providers we are familiar with to assist in correcting these types of issues in a timely manner. We can also walk you through emergency steps you can take to prevent secondary damage while you are waiting for the source of water intrusion to be correct. Always, the first key critical step a property owner can do in these situations is to stop the water from coming into the property. Sometimes Mother Nature is unconcerned with human matters, which makes these types of situations very stressful. SERVPRO is always here to help, one way or another.

      A couple of points of clarification, SERVPRO completed all water mitigation services for your residence on August 26, 2023. Our water mitigation team obtained a signed Certificate of Satisfaction, rating our water mitigation services as all 10’s! Our responsibility is to provide water mitigation services as required to protect your home’s health and your investment. As of this date and time, we have not received any payment on the services provided at your residence. An invoice was sent after completion of all water mitigation services and receipt of your Certificate of Satisfaction. It is also our understanding that the insurace carrier provided the funds directly to you for both the water mitigation and the reconstruction estimates. Your review is well outside the normal feedback received; as our Google Review score is 4.6 stars! It is my understanding that the General Contractor you hired declined to complete all service outlined in your insurance carrier’s repair estimate. The additional service you requested is customarily completed by the General Contractor or their hired subcontractor. There is a difference between hiring a Home Builder and hiring a Restoration Contractor.Restoration Contractor:• The attention is focus is on restore and not replace.• Restoration contractors have specific expertise in dealing with damage caused by disasters, such as water. • Restoration contactors have relationships with subcontractors that have the skills and equipment to handle all aspects of reconstruction. • Restoration contactors work closely with the insurance carrier with documentation and pricing agreements. In summary, both Reconstruction Contractors and Builders are skilled in various aspects of construction, including framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the specific situation, and the extent of the water damage. It’s best to interview multiple contractors, speak with your insurance carrier, and do your research prior to signing contracts.
