I was A CLIENT FOR OVER TWO HORRIBLE YEARS. ALMOST EVERY AIDE WANTED TO SIT AND DO VERY LITTLE WORK. SOME DIDN,T WANT TO USE LIFT EQUIPMENT. I WAS LEFT WITHOUT HELP FOR DAYS. THEY SAID THERE WAS NO ONE TO HELP ME. THIS COMPANY IS POORLY AND STAFFED WITH POORLY TRAINED PEOPLE.

Home care aides call off consistently and they never have coverage! My family has been left with the burden of rushing and rearranging schedules to care for our elderly grandfather more times than not. It's beyond sad that this company takes on VETERAN patients (guarenteed to be paid from the VA) and have little to no intentions of providing caring.

PLEASE READ BEFORE WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY OR TAKING ON SERVICES. I used to work for YHCA as a HHA a few years back I even left on great terms so when the owner asked me to come back as an office coordinator in Massillon while offering me better pay I was more than excited to take her offer. Unfortunately I regretted that decision my first week back. The branch manager made sure to make my time there a nightmare because she never wanted me there in the first place. The way that woman treats people is absolutely disgusting and I am SO sorry I ever came back. She is a huge reason as to why this company in stark county cannot keep staff. She emotionally abuses the staff and abuses her position of power while the owner hides away in her office pretending to play business woman all day. They do not care about their staff let alone the clients. They are never fully staffed but will take your money anyways and dont care about whether that loved one has coverage or not. Its a sad and horrible operation. I pray nobody ever has to be treated the way I was here. I also pray for all the future clients that will be scammed out of money and left with no care in the end. Sad VERY sad.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CHOOSE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!! In October 2023 my Dad became critically ill and was placed on hospice care. I was thrilled when Your Home Court Advantage told me they could begin home health care immediately! I was willing to pay the $34 hourly rate because I needed the help (I was a singe caregiver to my dad). The Intake nurse came out the first day and did the assessment ($125). I pre-paid for 1 week ahead of time for approximately 5 overnight (8 hour shifts) and 2 days per week (6 hour shifts). This cost $1900.00. Again, I was happy to pay because I needed the help and this agency could accommodate. The first night my nurse aid was due to show up, she no call no showed. I attempted to call the 24 hour help line and it took nearly an hour and several attempts to get through. I was told she (my scheduled nurse aid) took a nap and didnt wake up. I was told 1 hour after she was due to show up they would not be able to send anyone. This is at 1 am. The next day, I was told the same nurse aid would be back the next night. I explained I wanted a different aid. Unfortunately, we never got to use any services from this agency because my Dad passed away his second day on hospice. This leads me to the most horrible part of this process: the refund. I called at minimum 10 times and was told the following: 1) I would be called back and was never called back or 2) a refund was submitted to corporate but they could not provide any verification it was submitted, a contact at corporate, or any refund processing timeframe. When I was finally provided a number to corporate , there was no option to speak to a live person. My Dad died on 10.31.23. I could not get any answer from Your Home Court Advantage as to the status of my refund until 11.13.23. Again, this is after I spoke with several staff (including the CEO), was not called back on several occasions, and given the runaround. I did receive a refund today (the check was mailed on 11.15.23), but it was not easy! I would absolutely never recommend this agency to anyone. Horribly unprofessional on so many levels. I hope that if you find yourself in a vulnerable time like I did with a loved one in need of care, you will see this review and choose a different agency.
