Waffle House

There was a server named maddy, she was very awesome and very polite and had a very positive attitude. The food was great the service was outstanding. Definitely will come to this one next time!

This location is nicest Waffle House Ive worked and eaten at. All of them have been great but this is by far my favorite. Management, staff and the overall atmosphere have been incredibly welcoming. Even the new staff members who are still learning put their all into the job which makes things run a lot smoother. Its Very clean and spacious. Ive been with the company since 2021 and have helped about 8 different stores since then. Proud to be an employee of Middletown Waffle House and dont see myself parting anytime soon! Shoutout to Dave, Cole and the staff for creating a great environment for a new home store.

Very clean and professional for a Waffle House. Food was great as always. Local to where we live so well be back.

Well. I've came here with 2 different cooks and neither one knew how to do their job correctly according to the Waffle House Manual. For 1 they don't do the grits correctly.. they mix the butter in the grits which is against company policy it makes the grits taste like burnt popcorn... Waffle House way is you only put the chunk of butter on top and let it melt to create a seal then you dip the spoon down in pulling straight up allowing the butter to roll off the top.. someone please show them what to do because I've gotten grits here twice and they were disgusting..... second of all the only ones in the whole restaurant was me and 3 police officers. My server was done taking my order before the officers yet I still had to wait until he was completely done with their order before even starting mine. It was 5 am on a monday.. the cook was too busy trying to be cool not in proper uniform (had a beard which is only allowed for religious reasons accordto Waffle house policy.... but the fact that even though my server was ready to call my order first and I got skipped shows me the cook could care less about doing his job right and more so making sure the cops don't mess with him for doin dope in the back... absolute disappointment will still be going to Monroe where they atleast know how to make grits.
