Pure Contracting Services

When it was all said and done, Pure Contracting Services took 6-weeks to "Finish" my roof and gutters. In fairness, a lot of those days they were no-call/no-show. When Jason Lerer did show, he said that he was running into financial issues so instead of paying him at the beginning and ending of the job, I paid him 7 times in that 6-weeks. For anyone that is considering using Pure Roofing: 1) Get everything in writing. Any time he mentions a cost over-run, have paper and pen ready and make him sign it. 2) Never give Jason a check in his own name. Always make it out to Pure Contracting Services. 3) Take photographs of all items delivered and compare them with the contract he writes you. With mine, he changed the make/manufacturer of the shingle (which changed the color of the shingle), the underlayment, and used OSB instead of the CDX-plywood that he had listed on the contract. None of these changes were discussed with me before he made them. OSB is half the cost of CDX-plywood. 4) Make sure you get a copy of both the shingle warranty and the invoice before cutting him the final check. I'm still waiting on both. My mistake. 5) My contract with him states that he was to replace all my gutters. He only replaced 3/4ths of them (my mistake, I didn't notice it until he left). I texted him with video to show him that the new gutters drip...he never responded to that text. So, I'm going to have to figure out something. On the plus side, my new roof looks good. 1100ft of roofing shouldn't have taken that long. When I first signed with him, he said 4-5 days max. 6-weeks. Sheesh. We haggled on cost over-runs for a total project price of $17,015.00 The low rating on this review is due to the 6-weeks it took to do the job, the switching out of products on the contract, and my gutters being 75% new and leaking.

Pure Contracting are an example of professionalism. With the winter here, I wasn't sure how I would be able to deal with some outdoor issues I was having with my home. Jason knew just what to do and got everything straightened around without any hassle at all. Now I don't have to worry about the elements in this extremely cold winter getting inside my home. Thank you so much Jason and Pure Contracting.

Scheduled an appointment for today and Jason never showed up. Rushed home for nothing with my two kids and waited at home when I had other things to do this afternoon and wasted my time when I needed a job done ASAP. Very disappointed.

Great experience from start to finish. After the first phone call, Jason was at my house the next day. Once we had nice enough weather, the crew showed up and began on the new roof. It looks great. Thanks guys
