Heritage House Apartments

Called to inquire about an apartment and was basically told I was a shady individual for living with my partner of 7 years and not being on our current lease and said he doesnt rent to people like me. He ASSUMED I moved in without the landlord being aware and didnt give me a chance to explain before being rude. If he would have taken two seconds to speak to me like a human being, he would known that Ive lived here since the day the lease was signed (I was also at the lease signing as well) and I speak to the land lady more than my ex does She lives in the apartment below us lmao. I have great credit, 7 years of rent receipts, great tenant history and all of my past landlords have confirmed they are welcome to vouche for me, and I was planning to pay 4 months rent up front due to the fact that I just started a new job. Definitely screams slum lord and Im thankful I didnt get stuck renting from him!

Rude landlord never fixes anything. Given people special treatments and allows them to go against lease. Also allows dirty people to live there and punished the clean ones. Steal security deposits. Do not recommend this place no matter your situation. Also never answers phone when problems happen. If I could give it a 0 star rating I would and have 3 others who live there that would do the same.

I highly recommend that you do not rent an apartment with heritage house. These apartments have poor up keep and an extremely rude landlord. We had an issue with mold in the apartment as soon as we moved in, a few months after there was an issue with our tub making a god awful noise anytime we tried to run it, days later we had someone out to "fix it", well after they were supposed to be there and then when i called he landlord to tell him we would prefer to be home when they were fixing it he got into an argument with me and cursed and yelled at me for it, the next day is started doing the exact same thing again. After the second fix to our tub the faucet was put in incorrectly and the water would poor onto the ground because it was too far back, when i reached out to the landlord he told me to "cut a bottle and put it around the faucet so it doesn't leak on to the floor anymore.". In June of 2021 i noticed our ceiling leaking, i texted the manager and landlord to get it fixed, the landlords idea of fixing it was first putting clear tape around it. Finally a few weeks later they properly fixed the pipe but left a huge hole in our ceiling up until after we moved out in January of 2021. My best advice, steer clear unless you absolutely have no other choice, and even then good luck getting ahold of the landlord ever for any issues or to even start residency.
