Summer is an amazing massage therapist! She is very attentive to your needs and really gets the knots out! She came to the cabin we rented and was very friendly and professional. She even followed up the next day to see how we were feeling! This is a great service in the Hocking Hills area!

I was very happy with the massage we received from the two massage therapists (Kayla and Robert) from Hocking Hills Traveling Massage. The massage therapists were very kind and professional and did everything they could to accommodate us. We had two facials scheduled as well, however, we noticed that hot water was not available inside our Airbnb and did not find this out until check in. The massage therapists explained that hot water was required for the facials and offered to either extend our massages by 30 minutes or speak to their boss about a refund for the massages. Since the refund sounded like it wouldnt be a big deal, I elected for this option instead. A little over a week after the massage, I emailed Hocking Hills Traveling Massage to ask about refunding the facials as discussed with the massage therapists and received a response from the owner, Brooke. Unfortunately, Brooke stated that there was no mention of a refund for the facials and for some reason suggested that I ask the AirBnbs owner to refund me because of the lack of hot water and that I shouldve accepted the offer to extend the massages 30 min. I reiterated that because the massage therapists offered two choices (to extend the massage by 30 min or to ask their boss about a refund for the facials), I went with the option to refund the facials. Brooke then began her response with, No. They never mentioned that they offered you a refund. Rather than owning up to this being a miscommunication between herself and the massage therapists, it seemed like Brooke was accusing me of making up this conversation with the massage therapists. She then ended the email with saying, Ill refund your facial costs and take it out of their pay this week, as to evoke guilt on the my end rather than just eat the cost herself as the owner for an unforeseen circumstance that was not outlined in the policy and was a first. Again seemed like a way to dodge responsibility for miscommunication with her staff. At no point did I demand a refund or become disrespectful towards the company, but I felt that Brooke met me with an unexpected animosity that was out of proportion to the email conversation being had. I am not one to believe that the customer is always right or whatever, but the customer should also not be blamed for an extenuating circumstance and miscommunication between the owner and staff. I still think that Kayla and Robert did a great job and would recommend them for massages, but overall the email communication afterwards and unwarranted animosity from the owner left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Deep tissue 90 minute massage with cupping was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be booking again in the future when I come back to the area. Highly recommend Brooke and her team!
