Hi Ben, we're sorry to hear your frustrations. We wish we would've been given the chance to speak with you directly rather than communicating via Google. If you'd like, you may call our office at 330-600-4556 and we'd be happy to talk through these concerns. Upon reviewing your account, we don't see any notes of "knee deep" water in your apartment being reported. We do have record of occasional water issues, however in July of 2023, you had reported that after a heavy rain, there was no evidence of a leak. It's also worth noting that this apartment is a basement unit and is subject to moisture at times. We also completed a mold test of your unit (per your request) which came back negative. The results of this test were provided to you. When any maintenance items were brought up, our team responded accordingly and resolved the issues as they came up. As for covering relocation, per your lease agreement, a written 30 day notice is required to be eligible to receive your security deposit refund (additional criteria must be met as well). Unfortunately, those criteria were not met. Our team works very hard to ensure issues are addressed quickly and correctly. Honestly, it's discouraging to consistently be met with sarcasm, rudeness, and underhanded comments when we're simply trying to help. Although we didn't see eye to eye, we sincerely wish you the best in the future. We hope you have found a new home that exceeds your expectations and provides an overall great experience.
