        Decent layout, decent price ($45), and below average conditions. Maintenance was taking place during my round. They seem to be adding irrigation but the sod job doesn't look very promising. The ground is rock hard currently. Needs some time to improve.

        the city of mason is too cheap to supply the course with enough carts to play the academy when there are no leagues or benefit outings. I'd claim tax dollar shortage but I'm fairly sure the club has a surplus budget. Must have siphoned all the golf cart money into that fancy pool with all the lights that closes before dark anyway
