Liberty Tax

I have had my taxes done here a few times, it has always been pretty good up until last year. They took an insane amount of money from me for doing my taxes, like more than normal. I questioned it and got no where. This year, I have tried to contact them to get my information from last year. I cant even get someone on the phone. I call, it rings a few times and then someone answers only to hang up on me. Never again will I get my taxes done at that place.

We filed our 2021 taxes there, have still not got our return (November 2022). I have not ever had this many issues with my taxes, its been insane. Also is very unhelpful that they are only open half days twice a week and show no accountability to get this addressed. Not sure what we can do at this point but know we cant go back there next year.

I would put 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Absolutely horrible service. We scheduled multiple meetings with our tax preparer, and on a handful of times, she wasn't in the office or was meeting with someone on a work call for a different job she had. Aside from the poor professional side of the business, our local, state, and federal taxes were all prepared with mistakes. Due to one of the mistakes, our state and federally filed taxes were immediately rejected, but we were never notified by the office. Our local taxes were not submitted for us or prepared and handed to us to turn in. We only found out that our taxes were not submitted for us due to not receiving our tax refund. We had to look at using another office to submit our taxes, paying them for our services. We did not get any support from the Marysville office or corporate headquarters with the calls I made to figure out where our taxes were and what the barriers to successful submissions were. It was an absolute headache working with the new management at the Marysville Liberty Tax office, and we won't be utilizing them for our tax preparation services again.
