My 12 year old has seen all the memes online about "nothing good happens at the Waffle House", so once he saw this next to our hotel, and given the fact the loves waffles, our plans for dinner were set. He was happy with his waffle, but didn't care for the type of bacon served with it, and it definitely didn't feel like 2 strips worth.
I ordered the patty melt with bacon and a side of hash browns. My bacon and patty could have used another minute on the grill at least, and I've never had less brown hash browns in my life. Maybe the top quarter were browned, the rest barely warm and completely white.
For the price, I really wish we had just gone to Culver's next door. Or even better, Roosters, which is right behind here, that we did for lunch the next day.
